Timeline

Newest first. From Zoom's official status page, in their words.

  1. scheduled

We will perform scheduled maintenance to our voice infrastructure, including Bring Your Own Carrier (BYOC), Provider Exchange (PEX), and native PSTN carriers during this time. We do not anticipate any service impact. Customers and partners with redundant trunks to both the SYD and MEL datacenter will notice the SYD peer temporarily offline, however all traffic will be automatically rerouted to MEL peer for the duration of the maintenance period. This maintenance is on CPL and its PSTN service supporting backend ZP and ZCC in SYD and MEL regions.

What this means for a business

  • Work from the files you already have open or downloaded; nothing saved is lost.
  • Move an urgent meeting to a phone call.
  • Tell the team in one message so nobody spends an hour troubleshooting their own laptop.
