What is a Business grant?
Money from government or a foundation for a purpose, which does not have to be repaid.
Grants fund specific things: hiring an apprentice, going digital, exporting, disaster recovery, energy upgrades. Each has eligibility rules (location, size, industry, turnover) and a closing date. Most small-business grants are under 50,000 dollars and competitive.
